How to Prevent Acne and Pimples?
1. Drink, Drink and Drink
Drink a lot of water daily, because it will not only minimize the chances of acne formation, but it will give other numerous health benefits too.
2. Keep your Face Clean
Wash your face two times a day; one in the morning and one after returning home from work or school etc (preferably before going to bed).
This will clear out the germs and bacteria accumulated by your face throughout the day, and your pores will be having fewer chances of cloggation.
Remember that excess of everything is wrong, Don’t overdo it.
3. Use Non-Comedogenic Skin Products
Since skin oil is considered to be the main villain in pores blockage and thus causing pimples, so it is a wise idea to keep your face off too much oil.
Make sure you use the skin products that says non-comedogenic on their labels.
Non-Comedogenic means that it contains water or any other mineral instead of oil in it.
Another important thing in the list of acne prevention tips is Showering.
- Shower after every vigorous activity that makes you sweat because it can clog up your skin pores if not washed away.
- If you have acne-prone skin, then also consider taking a shower daily before bed.
5. Remove your Makeup before Bed
Sleeping with having Makeup or any skin product on your face is strongly not recommended.
The reason is same, i.e it can block up your skin pores, and you may receive a present of pimple/pimples when wake-up.
If you do a little research on the Internet, you may find all the good foods to be dangerous for acne and pimples. For example Fast Foods, Spicy Foods, Oily Foods, Dairy Products etc. etc
Here’s my advice; Do your own testings, find it out yourself that which food is triggering acne on your body and then minimize or entirely quit consuming that specific category of foods.
